John Duty finishes 4th at Sunset Speedway Park
The Coors Light I-5 Silver Bullet Series visited Sunset Speedway Park (Banks, Oregon) on Saturday as part of the 14th annual Doug Walters Classic. John Duty’s No. 5 Super Late Model was among 15 entered.
After qualifying with the sixth-quickest time, Duty won his heat race from the fourth starting position on the quarter-mile oval.
He started the 67-lap, $2,000-to-win main event from the second spot and ultimately turned in a fourth-place result. He followed Collen Winebarger, Greg Walters and Bricen James across the line, while McLain Beaudoin finished fifth.
