Top-5 finish for John Duty at Southern Oregon

John Duty followed the Coors Light I-5 Silver Bullet Series to Southern Oregon Speedway (White City, Oregon) on Saturday to take part in the tour’s $2,000-to-win program at the track.

Duty opened the evening by turning in a second-place qualifying effort in his Double Duty Motorsports No. 5 Super Late Model. He then won his heat race on the 3/8-mile track after starting in the sixth spot.

He began the 40-lap, 17-car feature event from the third position and ran as high as second during the middle portion of the race before finishing fourth. Duty chased Collen Winebarger, McLain Beaudoin and Preston Luckman under the checkered flag. Bricen James finished fifth.
