January 14, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Wild West Shootout Finale
Wednesday night found Double Duty Motorsports back in action at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) with only Justin Duty competing in the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. Holding his spot in his 8-lap heat, Duty logged an 8th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 4 into the show, Justin gained four spots to edge his way into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place finish. Following a scheduled off day on Thursday, Justin returned to action on Friday night competing in a field of 46 Super Late Models. Dropping two spots in his heat, Duty logged an 11th place finish sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top 4 to make the show, Justin failed to make it out for his consolation event ending his night early.

On Saturday night, Duty timed in second fastest in his group before slipping back to a 9th place finish in his heat race. Transferring him into the B-Main for one final shot at the feature, Justin came short of a transfer position with a 13th place outing.

Bringing the 12th annual Wild West shootout to a close on Sunday, Justin secured his spot into the $13,000-to-win finale with a 4th place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 14th, Duty improved four spots in the 50-lap affair reeling in a solid 10th place finish.

January 8, 2018 - Double Duty Motorsports Begins 2018 Season at Wild West Shootout
On Saturday night Double Duty Motorsports kicked off the 2018 season at FK ROD Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) for the 12th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. With 50 Super Late Models on hand for the first round of the six-race tour, Justin secured his spot into the opening night feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Scott Ward. Following the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group, John logged a 7th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into A-Main, Duty logged a 7th place outing ending his night early. Rolling off 10th for the $5,000-to-win feature, Justin Duty dropped ten spots in the 40-lap affair registering a 20th place finish.

Returning on Sunday evening for another $5,000-to-win A-Main, Justin secured his spot into the feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat while John logged a 5th place finish. Needing a 3rd place finish or better in his consolation event to make the feature, Duty slipped back to a 12th place finish. Justin slipped up seven spots in the A-Main to place 24th.
