June 27, 2017 - Justin Duty Wins in Modified at Coos Bay Speedway
Behind the wheel of the Brian and Nikea Thompson owned #44 Open Wheel Modified, Justin Duty made the trip to Coos Bay Speedway (Coos Bay, Oregon) on Tuesday night for the IMCA sanctioned Modified Mid Week Gambler. With 12 cars on hand, Justin scored a 3rd place finish in his heat race sending him into the Dash. Following a 3rd place finish in the 12-lap Dash, Duty received the pole position for the feature after the redraw. Hanging on to the lead for all 35-laps, Justin Duty reeled in his first win of the season over Collen Winebarger, Lawrence O’Connor, Ryan Baker, and Tyler Smith.

June 3, 2017 - Justin Duty Follows MLRA Series Over Three-Day Swing
Justin Duty kicked off a three-day stint with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) on Thursday night at Scotland County Speedway (Memphis, Missouri). In a field of 21 Super Late Models, Duty registered a 6th place finish in his heat race positioning him 18th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Passing six cars in the 25-lapper, Justin reeled in a 12th place finish. (Mike Ruefer photo)

On Friday night Duty headed to Randolph County Raceway (Moberly, Missouri) for another $3,000-to-win A-Main. Posting a 5th place finish in his Casey’s General Stores heat, Justin earned the 14th-starting position for the A-Main. Losing one spot in the 40-lap affair, Justin Duty logged a 15th place outing.

Wrapping up the three-day MLRA weekend, Duty stopped at Randolph County Raceway (Moberly, Missouri) on Saturday. Following a 9th place finish in his heat race, Justin slipped back to a 18th place finish in the A-Main.
