August 5, 2017 - Duty Returns With World of Outlaws for USA Nationals at Cedar Lake
Tuesday night found Justin Duty back in action with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway (Oshkosh, Wisconsin). Following the fifteenth fastest time in qualifying, Duty posted an 8th place finish in his heat race sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 3 into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Justin improved one spot but came up short of a transfer position with a 6th place finish.

After losing Thursday night’s opener to rain, Justin Duty was one of 42 Super Late Models signed in at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) on Friday for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned event. Losing one spot in his heat race, Duty posted a 10th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Slated to start deep in the field, Justin decided to scratch from the consolation event and prepare for another qualifying and heat race session later Friday evening. Following the 20th fastest time in his group, Duty recorded a 10th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main on Saturday.

Needing to place in the Top 3 to make the 30th annual USA Nationals A-Main, Justin logged a 8th place finish giving him one final shot at the $50,000-to-win finale with a Last Chance Qualifier. Sending only the race winner into the main event, Justin Duty posted a 13th place outing bringing an early end to his weekend.
